Legacy of Wilberforce Award Winners

Chuck Colson established the William Wilberforce Award in 1988 to recognize a distinguished Christian leader who exemplifies the principles and the commitment of William Wilberforce, the great English statesman who waged a forty-year campaign to end the slave trade in Britain and to reform a broken society. Previous recipients are a roll call of Christian leaders who by their example encourage the rest of us to bring a Christian worldview to bear on the greatest challenges of society.
